Thank you very much for attending the Earth Science Career Event last friday. We hope you enjoyed the lectures, workshop, lunch, social drink and the career market. The day was a great succes which would not have been possible without all of you. It was a pleasure to organize.
Soon an evaluation form will be posted on this site. We hope that you can help us by filling out the form so we can do even a better job the next time organizing this event. Also pictures will be released soon on the website.

Dear visitor,

On Friday the 11th of February the board of the SAL will organize the Earth Science Career Event at the VU Amsterdam. On this day you will be given the unique opportunity to obtain a good impression of who your future employer could be, hand out résumés, arrange a job or internship and broaden your professional network with contacts from businesses, industry and nonprofit corporations.

During the day there will be lectures by professionals such as Jacqueline Cramer (former Minister of Housing, Spatial Planning and Environment) and Salomon Kroonenberg (Emeritus Professor Geology TU Delft) about their careers. Furthermore there will be a business market with 30 companies and nonprofit organizations as well as workshops from 13 different companies. In addition there will be a free lunch for all present.

Please note: the lecture of Tanja Zegers has been cancelled and will be replaced by Jeroen Helder from Arcadis

On this website you can register to participate as a visitor to the event. Participation is free of charge. Please register quickly if you are interested in a workshop because otherwise your favorite might be full. For the workshops you can indicate two preferences, however, students can only participate in one workshop. Workshops are divided on a first come, first serve basis!
